I installed the new BIOS (2.40) and lost the speedstep option. Why Asrock is doing this? Give us a solution (is asrock giving solutions??) and taking or breaking on the other hand (see CPU Quiet Fan function in BIOS 2.20 and now this loss in BIOS 2.40). Be alert

My guess: next bios is going to be 2.30 Fine tune CPU Quiet Fan function. For who says that this function is working properly (in bios 2.20): my fan (Pentium D915 Stock) is running at 2700 rpm-39°C (102°F) idle. I set the temperature limit in 50°C. I need a bit of silence

Look at Asrock's Homepage. They changed the bios description. Before Bios 2.20 Fine tune CPU Quiet Fan function Now Bios 2.20 Modified CPU Quiet Fan function to run higher speed than P2.10 bios. :confused:
