I'm trying to set my mtu to 1500 using the command ifconfig eth0 mtu 1500 I keep getting error sayinf ifconfig not found, and ideas?

Looks like Fedora Core 2 test 3 has been released to the download mirrors today, it can either be downloaded in a 4 cd set or 1 dvd iso with bittorrent. I have about 20 minutes left on the dvd download and will post back once I have it up and running.

I have a Netgear FVS318 firewall, I have tried to setup port forwarding to use various p2p applications but I cannot get it to work with DHCP enabled. Even if I reserve the forwarded IP address to my computers MAC address it does not work. The only way it works is if I manually assign IP...
