Hi, I have the geforce2 mx 64mb winfast sh max video card. Sometimes the screen looks weird with dots all over it. Other times the windows start button has a weird image on it. I have checked and the card is way below the overheating temp. Any ideas on what the problem is?

Hi, I just built a new amd 1ghz with an msipro2a mb. I have two case fans and a hsf and when i go to standby mode in widows, the fans don't shut off. IS there a way I can make the fans go off without shutting down because they are pretty noisy. Thanks

My problem seems to be solved...I removed the vortex 2 card and reformatted the hard drive. I haven't had any problems yet Thanks to everyone for all of their input on the matter.

Has anyone else had any experience with the vortex 2 card and the KT133 chipset.

BTW i did come from and intel chipset with a pIII 500mhz

I did remove the sound card and it worked ok but i need that sound card so if i reformat will the sound card still cause problems for me. (i have the latest drivers for everything)

I have tried pretty much everything mentioned above. Do you guys think i should reformat now?

i suppose i will try to remove everything in device manager and see if that works. If that doesn't then i supposed i'll backup the hard drive and reformat. Thanks for the help everyone

there are no conflicts in device manager. I used all the same cards and everything. I have a vortex 2 sound card, a diamond viper v550 and a voodoo2, i haven't changed anything with the timing or interlacing so it is default.

I have an amd approved psu. my temp hovers around 100f. Nothing seems to be in conflict. I have the 4n1 drivers. Any Solutions?
