Armor penetration as a stat is getting a nice buff in 3.1 (+25% to the effect per point of ArPen rating), so the value is going up a good bit for many classes. From a quick check at the EJ forums, it looks like ArPen is going to be one of the top three stats for feral dps druids after the patch.
