You can get for £25 the ThermalTake Power Express board that ONLY powers a dual graphic card setup, instead of buying a new psu. This will save you buying a new PSU. Bottomline: 1950pro is much better in most games than the 7950gt, and the 1950pro can be bought for about £83 GBP brand new...

The x1950xt does HDCP anyway, so that argument for getting the 7950gt for HDCP is wasted. (at least the Sapphire version has). As long as you have a decent PSU and good CPU to back it up, the xt is a fantastic card for the money. I tried to convince myself when I was RMA'ing my x1950xt today...
