I have a quick question. I have a typical 9-5 M-F - but I am also doing consulting work on the side which was my plan all along. I am getting paid via 1099 so I am putting roughly 25% of those payments aside to cover taxes. My question is, am I allowed to "claim" anything on my taxes...
