Remember Zimmerman? Apparently he just pulled a family out of a car wreck.

Faith and Reason. My thoughts on God, science and the world

I think you mean one species crossing over into a different family. A new species is created when the genetic distance between the two means they can no longer create offspring if they mate. We have observed the creation of a new species but have not observed one species moving across a family...

Sadly, most anti-religious people fit your description. As an example, many of them KNOW the Bible is not true having never read or studied it at all and purposefully cling to ignorance about it. I believe it is a basic human trait.

Punctuated equilibrium and saltation. Two things that radically changed evolution in the modern era. The evolutionary theory now matches the fossil record; it is good when a theory finally matches the data.

Faith and Reason. My thoughts on God, science and the world

Science is limited to natural events. If the Bible claims something is miraculous (not natural), then science is not designed to investigate it properly. This is neither saying the miracles happened or did not happen. I also agree that any argument can always have justifications found to...

So nothing exists if you personally have not heard of it? I do not accept your position with anything less than complete derision. Address the item without the use of a logical fallacy, please. It is impossible to run faster than a 4 minute mile or else you will die - according to medical...

He did not. He made a bunch of unproven assumptions again, complete with the poor assumption that anything not yet discovered does not exist.

So what? You are still making an assumption based on your personal view that the absence of evidence is also evidence of absence. This is an incorrect view to hold. Just because we have no proof of something does not mean that the something does not exist. You make the assumption there is no...

    Stand Your Ground Laws

Two very different questions. The first depends on if I am armed or not. If armed, I shoot the guy in the process of inflicting great bodily harm on me. If not armed, I fight back as best I can. What do you do in that situation? In the second question, thinking someone is going to do...
