My USB connections are very slow. When I transfer files I have the windows open that shows the transfer speed and it's pretty bad. When I look at the driver dates they all appear to be from 2006.
I believe my mb is v1.1. Anyone have an idea where I can get drivers for my EP45-UD3R that will...
Well... as I mentioned initially the 784 worked fine with the Mini PCI card as both have Atheros chipsets. It seems the 4300 has Atheros chipset as well so I should be able to get 108Mpbs. Apparently I need to try various Atheros drivers but some that I know that worked at 108 with the 784...
I got the 4300 has a warranty replacement for my DI-784. The Mini PCI card I have now in my laptop won't do 108Mbps with the 4300. I imagine it's due to the fact the the PCI card I have has an Atheros chipset and from what I've read the 4300 does not.
Any recommendations for a good mini PCI...
Never mind. I finally realized that I made a change recently that I thought I wanted and this new change caused the problem.
In the "Advanced Email Option" there is a box you can check for "In folders other than the Inbox, save replies with the orginal message". For some reason I thought...
This just started recently. Seems like it started a few days after the hot fixes from MS. Which were mostly MS Office. Anyway, when I reply to an email the message that I send should go to the Sent Items folder. But, it's not. The message that I send (replies only) end up in the account...
I just completed a fresh install of WinXP Pro and drivers on my PC. I'd like to Ghost this to my external USB drive. I have a generic USB drive (case says Speed Metal on the side) with a 200G Maxtor drive installed.
I have this Hiren's Boot CD 7.7 CD with Ghost 8.2. Thought I could try this...
Best Antivirus program?
I've been using NAV for years. Seems to work however there have been times it found a virus and wasn't able to delete it or quarantine it. Can impact performance. Actually been using Norton Systemworks Pro for some time. Trying NSW Pro 2006 now. Doing a reformat of my...
Well... the server/workstation does have SP4 installed for Win2k.
I have Norton Sytemworks 2003 installed with NAV 2006 installed on all 4 machines. No NIS progam installed on any machines. I'm not sure but NAV 2006 may be disabling WinXPs firewall and using it's own. I believe it may...
Trying to do backups with Ghost 10. Odd.. never had issues with version 9. Anyway, I select the drive and the location to store the image and I get the following errors shortly after starting the backup.

I have a LAN with four computers. One workstation also doubles as a server. This box runs on Windows 2000 Pro. All other computers (running Windows XP Home) are setup with logins and passwords and are setup with access rights to the 2000 Pro server. Occasionally (too often) the clients are asked...
I have a client that keeps getting a message to register NAV 2005 every time we run Live Update manually. It seems to need to be done manually do to this registration problem. This install came off of a 3-User Pack. Two of the machines are running XP Home and the one with this issue is...
Everything appears fine. It is listed in device manager as working. I do find it odd that I have access to the Broadcom utility and the Windows XP WiFi utility also. I have to check enable every time but I get the response to turn the WiFi switch on. Which it already is.
Yes. I think I understand your question.
There is a switch on the side of the laptop to turn WiFi on and off. When it comes on the LED light is supposed to light up, but doesn't.
