No I haven't tried the manual way, I don't really know what I'm doing there, afraid I might mess something up. I'm using "OCZ Value Series PC4200 DDR2 D/C Kit 1GB" for RAM, and I have a Thermaltake Silent PurePower 420W power supply.

I have a P4 3.2 GHz LGA775. I tried overclocking from BIOS with the easy overclock thing (lets you choose a % and it does everything for you; it's an ASUS P5GD2 motherboard). Even if I try to OC it 5%, when I reboot, it tells me "System fail due to CPU overclocking". Is this CPU not...

I know they're decent scores, but shouldn't a PCI-Express X800 XT be pulling a little closer to 5000 in '05? Or do I have to overclock it before that can be reached?
