I have this exact same problem also. I have tried everything to no avail.

Yes, I did exactly that, and the Win2k server has internet access, the other computers on my network can see and share files with each other and the server, but only the server has internet.

*bump* Does anyone have any ideas on how to get this setup working... any form of internet connection sharing will suffice... ICS, NAT, anthing else that I don't know of... I just need the Win 2k machine to be the gateway.. thanx

Jigga, they are right.. The computer name is the hostname.. and there is no way to enter a hostname in the dns configuration like you want to, the best solution is to ping the hostname to find the ip address as others have said.
