I ditched Comcast after the first 3 months. I had the "Up to 20mbps" service which I only really got in the middle of the night. I was lucky to get 300k in the evening when I got home. Canceled and switched to DSL. Don't be tempted if you're in an urban area! (I'm in San Francisco)

I'm having this nagging issue that I can't seem to resolve - I get very slow network performance when I plug my 3 computers into a gigabit switch, but only when I use distributed rendering in 3D Studio Max. It will be fine at first, and then get progressively slower and then nearly not work...
