if I dial even 1-770 right after I finish the zero I get a "not completed as dialed' message.

well, I thought it may have been like from a time before when like a 680 something number came up, it was outsourced telemarketing and 680 had to do with the country code from which I was being called.

I got this number on my caller ID. 770-555-0001 I tried redialing it. Won't go through. No match on reverse lookup or Google. Any ideas?

I would probably suggest a complete reformat and reinstall of Windows. If you wanna back up your data either borrow a friend's Mac/Linux PC and use it to copy the data files that you need or be prepared for another hosed windows install.
