    Reinstall of Win 2K

I would probably suggest a complete reformat and reinstall of Windows. If you wanna back up your data either borrow a friend's Mac/Linux PC and use it to copy the data files that you need or be prepared for another hosed windows install.

For TTL you need something like a hercules video card. Most I've seen are ISA. TTL is actually a digital interface. I have a TTL monitor (IBM 5151) - it's greenscreen. They're nice for your standard 80 column text display. I don't know if the cards will drive any graphics or if OS/2 Will...

What's the best order to load laptop drivers?

Usually BSOD's on laptops seem to be from video drivers. What specific model of laptop is it? Laptop video drivers usually have to be obtained from the laptop manufacturer since some are written specifically to support the panel used, and sometimes companies like ATI don't even provide generic...

Looks like the latest Memtest86+ might kill BIOS!

Okay. Just out of curiosity, have you tried changing the BIOS chips with known good versions? also some motherboards have a jumper which you can switch to "recover" which will basically just access the floppy drive and reflash teh BIOS form a BIOS disk with no onscreen analysis, simply beeping...

    Jackass neighbor

If he lives above you, install a large hugger-style ceiling fan in your main room and run it on full all night. Louder the better. Make sure it's screwed TIGHTLY into the ceiling supports so that it shakes the whole foundation of his floor.

I am at the "absense of evidence" part. I can't get past it. I think the answer is rumsfeld.
