Don't you guys read the readme.txt that comes with the program MEMTEST86????
It clearly says that test 5 or 6 (i don't remember exactly which test...) may cause some problems with some AMD motherboards or chipsets for the AMD...

The mosfets...i have around 14 of them on my asus a7v8...with 6 or 7 placed in the area of the CPU socket...some are bit larger ones...

I hadnt checked my topic for over month, because i bought a seperate netwerk card...stupid me!!

I have currently installed Linux Mandrake 9.0 (default installation) , and would like to have my WINDOWS 2000 or WINDOWS 98 OS back for games and internet (cause my network card isnt recognised in Linux Mandrake)
How should i do this?
Is it easier for me to install win98 than win2000...

Not many A7V8 users yet? Common, there has to be a workaround for me, in order to use my Broadcom 4401 LAN controller under linux mandrake 9.0.
Any help or hints appreciated
