Windows 7 Pro x64 install hangs at "Setup is updating registry settings"

I have the same motherboard: Gigabyte x58A- UD3R and have tried swapping all the other components. Windows 7 install gets stuck at 'setup is updating registry settings'. Thanks, Sebastian
