These Dell desktops were shipped from Dell's factory in Ireland. The cpus, are oem, not boxed. Can't really help with the availability of these 1.8...

As far as I remember, my P4B533-E (before I burned it due to an unsuccesful Vmem mod) after applying the dip switch trick, had to set 1:1 in bios in order to clock the mem @fsb x1.333(2.666 ddr). Maybe this particular mobo, was a bad piece, not saying that it isn´t a good overclocker. Kept me happy, when everyone was saying that asus mobos 4 amd platforms, aren´t good overclockers. Too bad it died though.... My asus

As far as I know, although it will run without it, it is required for stability... You can try an asus board, most of them provide a standard power connector, in case the psu doesn't support it. Or you can work a simple mod out, these are regular voltages :);)

One complaint though.... after running a month my Á7V333 with 192 fsb, the ide controller died... for a week kept on reporting my ata disks as pio moded, then competely died.... The disks run perfectly with my current conf....
