Thanks for the reply. What does QVL mean? I tried upgrading the BIOS to 12f but it did not change anything. I then tried a registry fix by following this advice and it possibly fixed the problem (not sure yet): Increase the GPU Processing Time by adjusting the Timeout Detection and Recovery...

It runs 8GB ram fine but with 16GB the display driver hangs up. Could the BIOS need upgrading from F11?
