For that matter, what are the make and model of the motherboard and AGP card?
What was in the slot - or how did you get graphics support -...
Check your manual and see if it has any guidance. If you don't have one - or don't want to spend time rummaging for it -you can usually find one online at the manufacturer's site under support.

Did you add the drivers for the video card in the first place - the new ones from ATI? Did you try reseating the video card? Do you have only one PCIe x16 slot?
