Yeah, that was all I could find, also... It seems really strange to me since there are regular digital cameras with this feature for much cheaper. What makes it so difficult to put that feature in a webcam?
I thought this was a question I'd be able to answer myself with just a little searching, but I can't find anything yet, and I feel like there's gotta be something out there.
More specifically, are there any decent webcams with optical zoom that cost less than $100? I don't need more than 2-3X...
Well dang, that's not cool. If any card with an SPDIF port (and support for DTS and DD codecs) would have guaranteed me the same sound, then that probably means I wasted a good chunk of dough on my b-Enspirer sound card. Why'd you have to tell me this after I bought it? I would have preferred to...
Yeah, not many of the Creative cards really seemed to offer what I wanted at any reasonable price. Also, one of the main things that kept me away from the cheaper Turtle Beach or Creative cards with optical I/O is that there still seems to be a lot of Vista compatibility issues with them...
What kind of cable would I need in order to make that connection, assuming I can? Even if there's a cable already on the board connecting that mic jack, I doubt that it will reach the PCI slot for the sound card.
I have a Dell Inspiron 530 with integrated 7.1 audio, and I just bought a new sound card. This new card doesn't include an extra front panel for I/O (even if it did, I would have no available slot to use it).
What I'm wondering is will the headphone and mic-in jacks that are integrated into...

I am using the card's DVI port (with a DVI to HDMI cable connected to my Samsung 5087 DLP TV) for the only...
I appreciate the help, Paperdoc. My concern, though, is that the method of transferring the video signal to the TV that you're describing seems like it would leave the TV with a fairly low res signal. Is there a way to transfer an HD signal that way somehow?
So it can be done with a KVM switch? I guess I was just a little confused because this is sort of the opposite of what I thought KVM switches are typically used for (a single monitor and set of input devices, connected to multiple computers).
I guess all I would need is some male-to-female...
I apologize in advance if this is a stupid question, but I can't think of a reasonable way to pull this off.
What I want to do is connect my computer to two areas: my desk, which will have a wired mouse and keyboard, along with my computer monitor and speakers; and also my living room, where...
