Default core voltage for a 1gig is 1.75. To get 1.34 out of a 1gig is outstanding and out of the ordinary. My 1gig maxes out at 1.2gig with 1.85 Vcore. I have a 900 that maxes out at 1gig and I also have a 1.1gig that hits 1.2gig max. Lou :cool:

You should be able to get a +100 to 150 out of that 750 core. GFD's are selling for about $20 used. Lou :D

All 1.2gig Tbirds are unlocked. You should have no problems running it at 133FSB. My 1gig is running at 1.2gig ( 133x9x ). Lou :D

When you load the Via drivers, it checks your system for already installed components and only installs the newer versions. Lou

I say, it doesn't matter. I have owned at least 10 Athlon / Tbird processors and Abit, Asus, Giga-Byte, Microstar and other boards. As long as the board has the option for multiplier, FSB and Vcore adjust, it will be entirely dependant on the processor. End of story. Lou :)

Yeah - known problem with the A7V133. AsusProbe reports a higher temp than actual. Go in bios and you will see the correct temp - about 6-8deg C lower. Lou :)

You can pick up a used TNT2 or TNT2 Ultra for about $50 here. That's a great card for the money. Lou

I had the Fury Pro. It's performance was about the same as a good TNT2 card. For $100, I would get a RadeonLE or a GeforceMX. If only for the resale value down the road. Lou

As best as I know, Powerstrip is still the only program to tweak the Radeon. Lou :)

The general rule of thumb is that the Tbird is 10& faster for the same MHZ. On the other hand, the Duron overclocks a lot better. Lou :D

I read a few weeks ago on March 5th, the will announce the 1.3gig Tbird and lower prices by 10% average over the family. Lou
