7950gt is a great performing card anyone interested in getting one. I got the eVGA one at launch because of three free games and the step up plan. If you are looking for specifically an Nvidia card, i would recommend the XFX version of this card!

Quake Wars does look good, but definetly a Battlefield style game with "mission" type gameplay. (something that will get old fast in my opinion) One feature i like about the game is how you drop in from parachute when you respawn. I own Company of Heroes and think it is extremely over rated...

I haven't heard to much about this game except for people complaining about how it was being changed for the worse from the original or something? Anyways, after checking out this short gameplay montage i'm really pumped for some online play in this game. WMP...

Gears of War (xbox 360)

i just installed xp on my sata drive and it boots up fine when the windows CD is in the drive, but when the windows CD isn't in the drive it gives me the NTLDR missing and i'm posting on the forums off of this computer haha

Whenever i restart my computer and don't have the windowsXP disc in the cd/dvd drive it goes to the black and says "Missing NTLDR....press CTRL ALT DELETE to restart" i just reformatted, but this has never happened before.

I know how you feel, but patience is a virtue. If you really do not want to wait, i'd say go ahead and do it. It was the card i was going to order but for $470 on newegg when they came out i had to go with a $300 7950gt It really is basically a cool and quiet x1900xtx + 5 fps

well i should say this other than the 7950GX2, you won't get any better performance. you could wait a little bit and see what the Geforce 8800 turns out to be like because by the time Dark Messiah comes out, there should be alot more info on this video card.

i could imagine lugging that thing to LANS :disgust: i have been more than happy with my LCD for gaming compared to my crt the only REAL complaint i have is that some grey objects get pixeled with rainbowish colors (pink, yellow, green) i think i saw this called "breaking" one time

max settings with no AA it will fluctuate from around 20-60 i'd say for oblivion outside dark messiah you should be fine (assuming you have a really nice cpu also because source engine is very cpu dependant) but i would say 50-60 fps constant
