I saw that Emperex in Fry's last Nov. The one on display was pretty bad. Washed-out color picture quality. I suspect that it was due to long running in the display room. Cause me to have reservation on quality of Emperex.

No. I just picked up one from BestBuy this morning. I checked carefully to make sure that it says 5400RPM on the packaging box. Also, someone in a different thread thinks that this drive comes with 1-year warranty. It is not true also. The box says it is covered by a 5-year warranty.

I got this deal last month (in fact, a better one with the AMD 64 rebate). I really think it is a very good deal. The Brightview screen is wonderful. But you need to be patient as it took almost 3 weeks after my order was placed for my laptop to arrive.

I also feel ripped off with the $40 shipping fee. I can accept the delay in manufacturing but for $40 I expect a 2nd-day delivery instead of a 7-day ground shipment.
