They just save themselves money and make ppl download it through the Playstation store. Part of the reason for the size hard drive they put in these things.

Did you try System Restore yet? Curious to see if that helped you at all.

If you use system restore, you can always try rolling the computer back a day or two. What format did you use on the new drive? I believe MCE needs NTFS. If all else fails, I suggest you do as mentioned above and might need to find a way to reinstall Media Center

If your talking about resizing it, then the easiest tool to use I would have to say is Irfanview http://www.irfanview.com/

Of those two option I would say go for Abit. Epox is good but Abit is better.
