    KWG, What BX6 mod ? The modification will consist out of removing the thermistor RT3 under the cpu replacing it with a 3.3 nF capacitor, replacing a 10k (R247 nearby monitor chip) resistor with a 30k resistor and connecting the on-die temp. diode to the capacitor where the THERMDP (pin AL31)...

    I had the same problems with the cuv4x. It's related to the selected vcore. If you set your vcore back to 1.65 or 1.70 (i don't know anymore) you will have no boot problems. But when you pass the magic line it will not boot, or only after a hard reset. I have waited a week for the solution, but...

    Thanks Compnut, i had overlooked the vid3 option. But how did you overcome the vid2 pin, on the celeron the pin is grounded. In order to get 1.85 V the pin should not be connected, otherwise the motherboard will detect 2.05 V ! i don't think saving the bios will help, because the bios doesn't...

    asus cuv4x....anyone have it? did they enable 4 way memroy interleaving and.....

    I had a CUV4X for a week, but i got boot problems trying to overclock my Celeron 566. btw i got the same problems with the CUBX. I returned then and i now in the process of buying a abit BM6. In the mean time i'm using a converter in a Soltek board and the cpu is even willing to run 952 !
