I tried everything that I could think of......but still no go! MY OPTICAL DRIVES ARE STILL IN PIO MODE! I've tried to: 1- disable legacy audio drivers in safe mode, but my DVDROM and CDRW still runs in PIO mode. 2- Enable DMA setting in the Bio, but will become disabled again once I save/exit...

I tried everything and can't get my DVD and CDRW to run in dma 2. Both are currently running at PIO 4. I pulled my SB live card and my AIW TV card...but still no luck. I tried to force the DMA mode 2 in the Bio but that gives me an error. So I wanna see if the legacy audio drivers are taking up...
