Trained chimps can load and configure W2K...it takes some brains and kahunas to load and configure Linux...if you want the easy way...well, nuf said...all you computer user wannabees...
Systemworks is not that great of a utility...it changes many system files. When Systemworks or W2KP go screwy, it is almost impossible to fix without a reinstall...
Careful...there are some proprietary software (drivers) that come with laptops...I know...I loaded W2KP on a Presario 1800T and I had to rig it a bit to work...especially the video driver...
good luck...
I think these forums are to find quick and dirty solutions for problems that arise in OSs. As I am usually quite blunt (meaning I will probably offend a few people), I don't believe people should come into these forums and blast off a million questions...especially about how to set up networks...
Agree with Patgod...I will continue to use Admin until such time as I get hacked. Then, after the hacker is through getting his rocks off on my system, I will reload my system from backup and wait for the next jerk-off to abuse my system.
Set both numbers in W2K to 192MB (maybe a little bigger if you need it)...but the key is to make both numbers the same so W2K doens't change the size when it wants to...
