Just as an update, got an e-mail on 11/11 that my monitor was on the way to UPSS to ship. Checked today (11/12), I now have a tracking number and delivery is scheduled for Monday the 15th. So, hopefully good news and the 1-2 weeks delivery time is wrong.

I ordered a 2001fp on 10/29/2004, and was givrn an estimated ship date of 11/9/2004. Unfortunately, I received an e-mail from Dell on 11/9 that said that due to an unexpected delay, my lcd monitor would not ship until 11/23/2004. Did the rep you talked to mention any delays in shipping? I...
