For some reason.. I can't get the feature tool to boot up on my dfi nf4 ultra-d....it goes to "Loading PC-DOS" or something like that..and just is stuck there... anyone have any idea what's room? i'm using the bootable CD by the way.. Thanks.
Might want to think about not getting value RAM with the DFI...works with some...but a lot of people have problems with it too. Also if you want to OC, you don't want to be limited by your RAM
CPU - AMD 3000+ Venice
HSF - XP-90 with Panaflo L1BX
MOBO - DFI Lanparty UT Nf4 Ultra-D
RAM - 1GB (2X512MB) OCZ Platinum Rev. 2
HD - Hitachi 250GB SATA II
DVD-RW - BenQ 1620
PSU - Fortron Blue Storm 500W
Video Card - 3dconnect x800xl pci-express
Case - Antec Super Lanboy
Does this work?
I am leaning towards the Lanparty, but if I decide I don't want to splurge too much on the psu (just a OCZ 450 as opposed to a 520W) or memory (around $100 as opposed to 150) what board would I get? Been reading dfi-street and everyone is suggesting that you need at least a 480W and the 450W...
This is going to be for my first build so... what's a good Athlon64 nforce4 mobo for a first build? I don't want to have a huge headache trying to set it up but some okay OC features for when I want to try my hand at it would be great. Thanks!
