    My cat's kills - 95 total kills for 2006

I think so. :) I was just sitting here, working.. and suddenly in my head.. like a slow melody of an ancient peoples... I heard in my head "... ats .. ills.." "... cat skills..." "my cat skills", and then with a rush of life, in full glory, the ancient memory of "My cat's kills" came...

    Computer Desks (rant)

I use a table, and I'm not ghetto. . . .well, in most regards. My main thought is.. when it comes to computers, focus on the chair, monitor(s) and keyboard. You can easily spend $1,000 on a desk. I'd rather spend $70 on a desk, $500 on a chair that'll last me 10 years...

    Programming ideas

I'm in a very similar situation as you are. I was thinking of developing some nice Bible software for OS X, but I'm too lazy. Other than that, I was thinking about software that would be useful to me. I do mostly web development and I have pretty much all I can think of needing. I had...

    Which is easier to read:

I use both styles. Depending on what I'm doing, I usually opt for Style 1, but if I have a funky function I go for Style 2. That keeps me keen to all that's going on.

Concepts, techniques, paradigms that really helped you

For me when I started drawing things out that really helped my programming. For instance... drawing out a small binary tree Or drawing out memory and addresses to understand pointers.. I picture pointers as mailboxes. ------- ---------- | 6000 | CAT | ------- ----------...

    Practical Programming Projects

This is my first time doing programming outside of the console project and web development, so I was wondering what some good programs would be to create. I like doing practical work that I can reuse later, or will enhance my experience on the computer. I don't have a Customer Relationship...

What are some good OOP web languages with pointers

yeah, I'm leaning toward C# or Java... As far as why I mentioned pointers.. I just think they're fun to work with, to be honest. Thanks for the input guys.

What are some good OOP web languages with pointers

I've been working with PHP for a bit over a year now, and I think it's pretty fun. But I think that there are some more powerful tools out there too for building web sites. I can program in C++, but I've never used it to develop web pages though. I'm not opposed to learning Java, Perl...
