I have the Amped Wireless SR20000G and it's really good. I get all 5 bars in my house and I can stream youtube vids with not much problems about 150 ft away from it. It even has 5 wired ports to connect wired devices to have a remote switch...

my WGR614v9 was stable for years (6) but it had trouble keeping wireless connections recently so I upgraded to the Amped Wireless R10000 and it's got really good coverage... it was 100 at microcenter... wanted the r20000G but it was 70 bucks more so I just got the R10000 I don't use USB sharing...
I don't think there's an option in this. I have this router and I never seen that option... now there is something for PPPoE/DSL with logins you can try that to see if that helps....

what UPS do you have and how old is the battery? if you have an APC and the router is damaged they have a connected equipment replacement policy you may want to look into.
Also have you reset your router? You've allready did the obvious such as changing channel, passwords, etc... so that...
have you reset all the routers completely? also do the 30/30/30 reset on ALL the network hardware including your modem. Please let us know how that goes!
