The Crucial M4 and Samsung 830 have been dropping all month, so I'd say no.

Since when is Tweaktown not a reputable source? And nobody is arguing that Ivy Bridge uses less power at stock, but the problem is heat when scaling up, which you can't infer from stock performance.

I fail to see a catch-22. If it was a catch-22, it'd be something like: You can't install Nero correctly. You must install the patch to install Nero correctly. To install the patch you must have Nero installed correctly. You can't install Nero correctly because you don't have the patch...

What I really want to see is ATI's response to the 8800 GTS 320 MB version i.e. their $250-300 price range card. Ugh, it's yet another waiting game...
