I got my mobo today and put the computer together. So far I've had no problems. Haven't tried overclocking yet though.

it's possible this board could do SLI in the future. After all, it does have 2 PCI Express x16 slots and comes with an SLI bridge.

I just ordered this board last night, I'll let you know what my experience is like with it once I get it (it should arrive either Tuesday or Wednesday).

yes, it's the DDR2-800. (timing 4-4-4-12). Corsair's website doesn't have the BX2 listed at all, just the BX. But since the mobos are very similar I figured it would work on both.

i have TWIN2X2048-6400C4 and i checked the corsair compatibility page. it lists the D975XBX so I'm guessing the D975XBX2 would be compatible as well or am I wrong?

that mobo looks good too, but it's still not compatible with my RAM.

thanks for replying so fast. I have looked at the Gigabyte DS3 and S3 before. They both look nice but I don't think my RAM is compatible with those mobos. I haven't fully researched the P5N-E SLI yet, but so far it looks nice. As for a price range, I'm looking for a mobo that's no more than $250.
