Hi, after finally getting the zip issue sorted out.. a month later, another problem with the asus a7v133 mobo appears. It won't boot! I proceeded to turn it on today, and nothing comes up on the screen. The hd light comes on.. and so does the cdrom and cdrw, so that leads me to believe that...

here's another question. i usually make the display go from edge to edge so i can really tell when the thing has cooled down because the edges run right off the screen. What is a normal amount of allowance for this?

well then half an hour later i have to adjust again because the screen 's display once again changes to it's warmed up state

no no.. but what i'm saying is that i make the adjustments. Then the next day when i turn on my computer... for the first few minutes, things aren't how i left them. Then after 30 minutes they go back to how i left them the day before. Hence the warm-up effect

I own a Samsung 700NF monitor. I read in the user's manual that you should wait for approx 30 minutes before making any screen adjustments. So before i went and adjusted the position and size of the display i waited the 30 minutes. The problem is, every time i start up my computer each day...
