Ill go ahead and give this a thumbs up based on my experience with my Rio Cali, which is basically the next gen version of this player.
Only negative I can think of is that the tuner sucks, and I heard that in the S30S its even worse
ill pay 3 dollars for it... Im a mechanical engineering major and actually thought doing something like creating rollercoasters would be a pretty fun job, wonder how good this will be :)
Thanks OP
Is there a free shipping code around though cause I dont see anything talking about free shipping
Id go for the 560's ... they are 4.1 and have massive power, I think about 400 watts, compared to this systems about 150ish I think....
the 680's have an extra satellite and an extra 100 watts of power...
So bottom line, if it was my money I would buy the 560's
540's = 4.1 weak
560's = 4.1...
It would be nice to have one of these pens, but my desk consists of a door held up by 2 filing cabinets... I think a MB pen might look a little out of place :)
holy crap, theres a headphone jack on the center speaker, haha
Im on a laptop so I always just unplug the speakers and plug in my jack... thanks dude, lol
yea Im not saying theyre crappy speakers, they have a nice sound, but for how short the cords are and how little total output they have most people really could survive on 2.1 or 3.1's with this much power ... if you wanna get 5.1's I'd suggest going big and either getting a HTinaB or else the 680's
I went through pro flowers which is FTD affiliated... and got a dozen long stem roses for 39.99 with a free vase... a 10 dollar shipping fee and another 10 dollars to ship em on valentines day...
So 60 bucks to get a dozen longstems delivered on saturday... another option for you people..??
threadcrapping commences...
I own these speakers, and they are pretty weak for a 5.1 system... only about 60 watts of total power I think are coming out of the speakers. Honestly if you're gonna get a 5.1 .. GET A 5.1 WITH SOME POWER. A 2 or 3.1 with this much power would be great, but...
I payed 150 for a Rio Cali and then another 100 for a 512 SD card for a grand total of 768 MB of storage :)
Which is enough for me... my only need was the light weight and the armband... and the cali only weighs like 2 ounces..
so if you want a HD player that you can work out with, etc...
