I've heard that the 780ti is a Titan without compute, but with a higher clock speed. The 290X needs its power and thermal issues solving before they overclock it, because it throttles in uber mode almost as far down as 650mhz. Overclocking wont help AMD. However if they bring TDP and heat down...
