X is not installed. When the user in the "operator" group executes "shutdown -h now" the message displayed is: "shutdown: Permission denied"

I read in a FreeBSD book that users in the "operator" group are allowed to shutdown the system, but it is not what is happening. What is going on? Thanks in advance, Ben.

Isn´t he talking about a overclocked Duron that has reached 2.3 GHz and he wants to compare it with other processors? Maybe the answer is just a benchmark utility like Sandra...

What mobos are good for overclocking an Athlon XP, say, 2200+? Will it make a difference if it is a XP 2600+ in terms of the "final" overclocked speed?

That´s what I´m gonna do. Try the XP with my current mobo and if it does not work try another one. I´ll just wait a little more till I learn more about how to recognize a good Athlon XP for OC without having to connect those bridges... Thanks everybody!

The mobo is a Asus A7Pro that I recently updated de BIOS to the latest version. In ASUS site they say It does not support the Athlon XP (due to its 266 FSB only?) neither the 1.4-1.8 Durons. The A7Pro manual and the BIOS setup shows a 133Mhz x2 FSB setting, ie, 266 FSB. Am I ready for the XP...

I just got 2 x 256Mb SDRAMs! With 128Mb I´m using 256 Mb for the swap file. What is the recommended for 512 Mb ? 1Gb? No, way!!! hehehe
