MY NIC card is 3Com EtherLink 10/100 PCI Network Interface Card with 3XP Processor (3CR990-TX-97). The card has a strange problem with my new motherboard, with the NIC card in when I start up I get no video signal and I have to shut off the power and turn it on to load, this happens every time...

It can be downloaded here. You need to own a creative card (TNT/2,Geforce1/2) to get it and use it. This was the last release of Unified it's only beta so some games won't work and the ones that do might have texture corrution.

I got the adapter today and I can't get the game to work with it. :( I heard of a fix downloading a VMU file but i can't find it. And how do I get the web browser 2.0 cd to work with the adpater? I keep getting a "No Modem Found" error. Any help would be great.

So that means since I'm running Windows 2000 there is no way to get it working? :( Or Is there some type of work around to get UT to run in Direct 3d without Geometry Assist?

Well if S3TC is added to Glide, 32-bit color option could be added too.

Glide is actually going to be updated?! :Q (I wonder by who... Nvidia? or some other company?) I guess I could wait for that day, kinda like my 100fps in UT in Glide and the stability it has - never liked direct 3d anyways.

I was just wondering because opengl does look noticeably better than glide but runs much slower with minor graphic gliches at 1024x768. How do I get UT to go in to full screen with my V5 in direct 3d? I still can?t figure it out... :confused:

Try uninstalling the drivers and reinstalling them same thing happen to me with my CL TNT2 Ultra and that fix the problem. Hope this helps.

I downloaded the new Direct 3D and Opengl renders at http://unreal.epicgames.com/. DXTC1 was added to Direct 3d so I installed them and the high res textures on the second cd. Direct 3d works like crap it opens the game in a window and looks worse than software mode :( (- any help to get it to...
