hey guys i got a asus m5a99x evo can i run a gtx 680 msi twin frozr on it.....i am actually planning to buy it this week any answers is highly appreciated... its got 2 2.0 x 16 pcie slots(x16) and 1 2.0 x 16(x 4 ) pcie slot i currently own a 6870...since 680 requires gen 3 i was having doubts

ty ......btw just got my card today(gtx 680 twin frozr3) and a h100 corsair cpu cooler too.....played bf3 very nicely ...just hope that addition of the cooler wont be much of a burden to the tx 750 v2...so far so good p.s: thanks to all members who replied to my annoying noob quetions

One more thing i like to ask is that my motherboard has pci 2.0 x 16 but 680 requires 3.0 x 16, so can it run with the 2nd gen slot?or will it have problems?
