I just installed a new lan in our home with a Linksys router with cable connection. Before the router I had a netgear four port hub which gave me no problems. Now we try to play quake 3 and we arent able to see any of our games.

I finally was able to ping the router. I think it must of been a bad router because I was able to ping with the new router. Thanks

Yeah I have Ping the www. was able to get that address but wasnt able to get the mail address. The problem is when I connect the cable to the router I cant get into the internet at all. It gives me an error message. However, the network works since i am able to see all four computers. But...

I am not sure if i have the DNS configure properly. I cant ping any sites. DNS is disabled.
