Yes, everything has been working fine up to a couple of days ago and I haven't changed anything. That's why I think it's the memory module.

My system running windows 98 se stops booting right after the memory count just before detecting the drives. any ideas on what the problem is would be greatly appreciated.

I have my HDD partitioned with extended and a logical drives and I am running win98 se on the primary.
Can I install win xp on either the extended or logical drive.
someone was tellling me that MS only allows one installation of windows xp and if you need to install again you have to pay for it again. Is this true?

last year a friend of mine downloaded and ran a y2k bug fix ever since then he's got to boot with this floppy disk or he doesn't have use of the mouse. He's running windows 98se. Any ideas how to fix this problem?
