latest update: i have reinstalled the o.s (vista) now this time i only installed quicktime. and checked. the audo plays while the video gets stuck at some frames. i installed cccp. no go...:( please help.

hi all, now this is going on for a very long time..... certain quicktime files land many of my renders gets stuck in the middle , i cant see the picture, its frozen but the sound keeps playing , and then picture skips some frames .....stuck , goes on like this .. well i have tried latest...

in 5 years time Linux is going to be equal or overtake MS in india , in my state "Kerala" govt has already introduced Linux in schools :-). almost every one Dual boots now . now if MS goes with current over priced strategy . and takes more measure against piracy . i see less hope in them in here...

i am waiting for service pack 1 to hit in vista before i switch it as primary o.s . or all nvidia and creative drivers gets sorted out .which ever is early , till then i will stick with xp:-). after all xp and vista is from the same company , why quarrel :-).

The whole concept of making profit of softwares is crap . Cause its not a PHYSICAL commodity . You dont write it for every individual every time . Just ask them to pay for support is ENOUGH. The company makes millions these days and gets greedy all time . In old times softwares cost was for...

I have xp my primary part is 6gb . . 3gb part for swap . . 10 gb for software installations , 3 more for music and games and works :-). That takes total to 6 . 2 more for Linux . . So total 8 on my 120 gb hdd using it for 6 years now :-) no probs so far . Done countless formatting ,instalation...

I just play games for fun . . I am no serious gamer . And its ok if the game crashes too :-). Well i am still playing diablo 2 lod,kind of nice feeling you get from them. May be thats just me :-). Will tell you about nwn2 in a week :-).

I bought nwn 2 yesterday . . Will be playing from tomorrow on wards . . My entire collection is -diablo (all),elder scrolls 3,4. NWN (all expansion )and BG (all). Thats all i play :-). i see a lot of quarrel going in the direction of open source and closed one.....well i dont have 16,000/- to buy vista ultimate ...so i will get it pirated...:-P....and if someone asks me for legimate copy i will show my BRILLIANT "Ubuntu" to them....unless they reduce the money none is gonna...

I think kaspersky is very very good :-). Give it a try .
