    Remove the sticker on the fan, apply a drop or two of oil, let it settle a bit, and put the sticker back on.

    As long as you don't have a CPU oc'ed to 2.6 GHz, keep the # of fans to a minimum. Excessive cooling can't hurt, but isn't necessary.     Noise Reduction project!! please read!!

    I've been trying to cut back the noise too and I've kept it simple - two fans, one 80mm 19.8 dB fan in the PS and one for the CPU HS. My hard drive is in a SilentDrive enclosure and is inaudible.
