Time wasted by game developers on implementing mantle is time wasted on not developing the game imo. Even nVidia users should care about mantle.

z15: seriously, I'm very happy with 1080p and have no plans to replace my sweet monitor any time soon. Also, can't find a 280X for less than $450 right now, $140 more than the price of the 770. I have decided to wait for maxwell though. Thanks for everyones input (even z15). Very much appreciated.

PNY 770 2gb is on amazon for $309 today. prime eligible. and you're trying to compare it to a 290 r9 that the cheapest I can find on amazon is $599. (NO JOKE). Why do AMD guys always try to upsale? Of course its faster, and twice the price. I dont feel a need for 4gb of memory in 1080p gaming...

Sorry pal, that is tough luck and I feel ya. Nvidia is always willing to accept your love (and money). I wont start a flame war here but I have always had great luck with nvidia.
