    LCD Buyer's Guide

I am very concerned. I just ordered a Dell 2007FP but then found out that there isn't even a panel lottery with it anymore and almost all units are S-PVA. So I'm about to cancel it because I found a price from a Canadian website for a HP LP2065. But I just checked prad.de and they say the...

A pair of 1.6A's with same batch #... same max O/C? Testing now...

:o Hey LazyC. I have started to test out the first chip I got, an L209 (malay week 9). Still waiting to test the costa that's the same as yours. I'm disappointed in this Malay. It seems to be a lot like the first Costa you tested, even slightly worse. It won't do 150 FSB under any conditions...

A pair of 1.6A's with same batch #... same max O/C? Testing now...

Hey LazyC! Remember me? Well, I have a CPU with the exact same FPO/Batch# as both of yours, I guess (from Future Shop on Eglinton and Laird). I haven't tested it, or opened it yet, because my DDR RAM hasn't arrived from Vancouver yet (tuesday I think). So I have a couple question for ya: The...

Help me decide: I have two 1.6A's at my house, unopened...

How did you pricematch a mobo at FutureShop? They don't sell mobos, last time I checked. The only components they sell are external peripherals, optical drives, hard drives, video and audio cards (retail only), networking stuff, and really crappy RAM. I was shocked they sold Intel Retail CPUs...

Help me decide: I have two 1.6A's at my house, unopened...

Thanks LazyC. What board you running it on, and with what memory? I'm thinking if I can get my ram within 3 days and set up a test rig, I'll test the Future Shop one. If it OC's really well I will return the other one since the price from FS will be a few bucks less. But then again I may test...

Help me decide: I have two 1.6A's at my house, unopened...

Long story short, bought one at last week's price, then found one at Future Shop with a different FPO/Batch and newer pack date, bought it with price protection. Both unopened. I can return one of them if it's unopened (the Malay one) and the other within 15 days no matter what. Problem is I...

    Gigabyte 845E / G boards - 8IEXP and 8IGX

Can someone who has this board comment on whether it is possible to lock the PCI/AGP bus? Like the Abit BD7-II, where you can fix PCI/AGP at 33/66 regardless of what you set FSB to? That's very important to me.
