Man! Decisions, decision. Read a few posts praising the P4B533-V but you gotta wonder how the Gigabyte GA-8IGXP will fare. The Asus is expensive! Called Gigabyte US today and they said that the 8IGXP should be on the shelves around the end of the month. Hope it's true.

gsethi, I called Gigabyte US this afternoon and the nice lady said that resellers should have them around the end of the month. Wonder how is compares to the Asus P4B533-V? Guess we'll have to wait and see. But I need to build my new P4 system this weekend!

OldFart, Getting my 1.6a up to 2.4 would be sweet. I'm not a gamer so the onboard video should be ok for my needs. Don't need to be at the extreme edge of overclocking but if the Epox will run stable at 150mhz then I might put it back on the list. The whole issue of not having the P4...

Looks like the 8IGXP is available in Asia now but not here. Sent email to Gigabyte USA as to when it will be available in the US. Will post if I hear anything.
