    PS Needed , New build - i7 3.2, gtx 480

Haha, sorry if I've made it harder! I don't think there's anything wrong with SLI or Crossfire setups, they definitely provide a performance boost and can run games with uber high-end settings much better (Crysis, Metro 2033 and as I found out recently, The Witcher 2). For me it's just a...

    PS Needed , New build - i7 3.2, gtx 480

I've got a 750W Corsair for you. It's not the modular model, but it's $75 shipped! ^_^ http://forums.anandtech.com/showthread.php?t=2134477 SLI is overrated anyway (Crossfire as well). Unless you're running three monitors, a single card should be more than enough to push the 2 megapixels...

Geeks Refurbished 24" Soyo LCD (possibly S-MVA) - Back in Stock!

Precisely the page I was using, specifically http://www.jscreenfix.com/ which they link to at the bottom. DPT basically uses the same method, a pixel 'exerciser' which is what JScreenFix uses. I haven't tried UDPixel yet but probably will. Nothing seems to have remotely effected it yet.

Got mine today. Pretty sure it's TN based on the viewing angles, color distortion when changing viewing angles and '3ms' response time. :( I also just realized today that my Dell monitor here at work is a VA of some kind. Somehow I hadn't recognized before how well it does colors and viewing...

    Simple XP Network: Issues

yep, in the process. The modem DOES have ethernet capability, so i'll be able to plug them all right in once I nab a router. Thanks for the support on the router though, glad to hear people have such good success. Probably should have bought one a long time ago.

    Simple XP Network: Issues

Hey all. I have a very simple network here at home. My parents computer is connected to our Adelphia cable modem using USB. They have a patch cable running from their NIC to our 10/100 D-Link 5 port switch. From the switch runs another patch, which connects to my on board NIC. I am trying to...
