Sorry, Posted in the wrong area. I am looking for the best 266 socket A MB. I only have heard about Asus A7M 266. Is this the best or are there others. Thanks for the help. Never mind I see the thread with my answers. Thanks any way.

I finally have things together to build a new system. I am looking for any advice on best socket A 266 MB. I will be using an AMD 1.2 GHz 266 or 200 and would really like some advice on the MB. The only one I know about is Asus A7M 266. Thanks Sorry - I put this the wrong catagory.

My experience is limited. However, my vote is IBM. They seem reliable, quiet, and keep cool.

I am looking at building a new system. I have the p/s Enermax 451. I have most of the drives & cards: Plexdor CD-RW, Pioneer dvd 115 16x, IBM Ultrastar 36zx HD, SBL- Plat.,etc. I am deciding on the T'bird 1 GHz. or PIII 1 GHz. cpu and the Asus mobo to match. Where I am having a tough time...
