    Going Caseless?

My brother had his computer on the wall. It was totally sweet. The best kind of modern art.

    [Fans] Nexus vs. CM

http://tekgems.com/Products/et-13713-fan-d12sl-12.htm These are the Yate-Loons that the Nexus fans are made of and they are only $3.99 in quantity. They have a little higher topend but a fanbus or volt-mod will give you all the silence you could want.

    $3.99 Yate Loon 120mm fans

I love how these guys do business. 4 of the fan girlls are only slightly more than one. They buy certain items in bulk from distributors and piecemeal them out to us tech-junkies. Site is a little weak but don't let that fool you I have had great service from them.

    Couple of P180 questions

As for quiet alternatives to the 120mm you could check out Yate-Loon. The D12SL-12 is a Nexus before they put the resistor on it. It can be had for as little as $3.99 in quantity. http://tekgems.com/Products/et-13713-fan-d12sl-12.htm

    $3.99 Yate Loon 120mm fans

Check out www.tekgems.com They have Yate-Loon 120mm fans at a great price. As we all know the model D12SL-12 is what the awesome quiet Nexus fans are. Nexus just adds a resistor to slow it down a little. You can do the same with a fanbus and you have have a slightly higher top end when you...

WAS HOT! Gateway has a 21" Widescreen Monitor for $599.99

Too bad the current Best Buy coupon doesn't specifically list monitors in the computer accesories section. I might give it a try anyway. For $540 this gets really competitve with the dell deals.

17 inch vs 19 inch lcd

If you are looking for a new monitor and like fine dot pitch check out some 20 inch ones. The Dell 2001fp is wonderful and gets good reviews on site like this. The other reason people are getting larger lcds is because they have teh real estate on their desk. My 20 inch dell takes up less space...

    FireFly Hot - Dell 2001FP $464 +Tax

If you use the 25off for using the Dell account it is about as cheap as it gets. I say jump on it. I bought one for 460 a couple months back and don't regret it in the slightest. Dell is getting stingier on their deals. Massive revenue with small margins do not impress the stock holders. It...

    POLL: SLI upgrade path

I would probably upgrade in this senerio but I might get a second 7800 instead of what comes next. I like the single slot cooling and the decreased power usage of the the new generation. But if you like your 6800, maybe it overclocks like a beast, maybe sli outperforms at your preferred settings...

My Dual Xeon P180 - Quiet SMP lovin'

Why do you have the power supply upside down? It seems that wouldn't be as effective for getting rid of the heat. Have you added a front intake fan, if you do you might be able to turn down some of those screamign tri-cools. I believe the Zalman will fit on your video card and it workd great...

    Dell 2005FPW & 2405FPW vs. 1905FP & 2001FP

I love my 2001fp. My wife loves it, my brother is jealous of it. Even my cats love it. It is the most fantastic monitor I have ever owned. That being said I have not owned the other two you mentioned but I used both. The 2405 is great but only if dropping $800 for a monitor isn't a problem and...

Resolution: Size Difference of 2001FP vs. 2005FPW

I got the 2001FP and love it. At 1600x1200 I find that the resolution is great for a variety of uses. I game, I word process, I stare at Anandtech for many hours etc.. The thing is beautiful at standard resolution but also does interpolation(I know god forbid) well because it is a 4 square...
