Good to know that I could help. I was also lost, but when I figured it isn't an OC problem, I knew it was Mr. Vista !!! Yeah 3.0 is good initial milestone. My plan is to get up to 3.6 eventually, but I'm going to run at 3.0 for a while.

BTW the guy who made that claim came back and admitted he was wrong after I posted the link to GraySky's overclocking guide. So I guess he didn't know what he was doing and was going around giving false advice to others !!!
