ctrl + shift + esc will get u the taskmanager directly

yeah my /etc/hosts file is correct the loopback and localhost both point to 127.0.0.1..but it still tries to resolve the old ip...are there any other files besides the basic ones where this information is stored..i'll give that admintool a try and see how that goes

i have a sun system running solaris...i got everything setup on the machine except for the fact that when u try to connect to the localhost on the machine it looks at the wrong address...im on the network now so i know that what i've done so far is right...the loopback device is installed but...

yeah i had the same thing...its rather easy to take care of...all u need to do is right click on my computer and select manage..then click on disk manager...then right mouse click on your linux partition and goto "change drive letter and path" and remove the letter that is in the combo...

usually when the floopy light stays on it means that u've installed the ribbon backwards...try switching the ribbon around and see if that works for ya

i had a similar problem with my geforce 2 pro...I tried everything under the sun to fix it...out of curiosity i tried the new beta detonators, 12.00 and it seems to have made the problem nonexistent...I would say give em a try whats the worst thing that can happen.

i just installed my new dvd player (pioneer 16x) under win2k...i am able to play dvds but am experencing random lockups during the playback...i don't experience any other lockups of the machine other than these...does n e one have n e idea what can be causing these issues...i am using powerdvd...
