5v mode is good enouugh for my X850XTPE, which ran pretty hot before. Idled around 50, now it idles 38. WITH SILENT MODE.

EDIT: I can't count. Unfortunately noise is an issue for me, and in my attempts to quiet my computer I have run into several obstacles. Number one is the fact that I have three loud 80mm case fans that I need to either replace or not use. Secondly is my CPU fan, badly in need of replacement...

QFT I know from experience, they wouldn't pricematch officedepot because it was a 15 minute drive away and they wouldn't accept INSTANT rebates, only base price.

There is about a half inch between the edge of the molex conector and the edge of the card. It's hard to see in this pic.

I bought an X850XTPE because I didn't think there would be. If I'm wrong I'll shoot myself, but oh well. One last leg out of my A64 AGP mobo (S754 Clawhammer 3200+, 2.0ghz, so its not a bottleneck yet)

Well what I meant is the only graphical corruption I've noticed is from the screen you see while installing ATI drivers.

Well there's the graphical corruption when installing the drivers, but I ONLY notice the corruption on this screen. The bent power connector I can't tell whether is necessarily a bad thing or not. The videocard is brand new (or should be, though the box was damaged when I received it).
